Orbita Wrapper Semi Automatic Stretch Machine
- 1650mm diameter turntable standard.

IS43 Pallet Stretch Hooding Machine
The IS43 is a fully-automatic pallet stretch hooding machine which forms and applies hoods to palletised products using gusseted stretch film. Film is drawn from a roll, stretched and placed over the pallet. When the film is released it recovers naturally and tightens around the pack providing pack support, protection and a means of displaying a printed logo if required.
Key Features :
- Economy. The machine uses the stretch characteristics of the film. No energy is used in heating the film leading to an immediate saving over the use of shrink wrapping machines.
- The design of the stretching arch allows the film to be released very close to the conveyor so that it will grip the pallet base. There is no need to lift the pallet above the conveyor.
- The machine can be installed within an existing conveyor system.
- The film stretching arch can be lowered to conveyor level and all regular maintenance can be carried out from floor level.
- Film loading and threading can be completed from ground level.
- Up to three rolls of film of different dimensions can be used to apply hoods automatically to pallets of different sizes, or twin reel holders can be supplied to allow pre-loading of same-size film rolls to reduce reel change time.
- Whilst one hood is being applied, another is being prepared to maximise pack throughput.

AT- 53 PALLET SHRINK HOODING MACHINE
Two-in-one machine
The DUO AT53 model is the result of the experience acquired in the production of hundreds of combined hooding machines, using a patented system for the preparation, opening and positioning of hoods taken from tubular film with side bellow sections.
Using an arc hot air generator it is possible to obtain hooded and perfectly heatshrunk packs resistant to atmospheric agents, with maximum operational efficiency in a single and truly compact operational unit of limited space.
The hood preparation takes place at the side of the hot air generator, this means that the tubular film is in no way affected by the heat, furthermore the fact that the bag formation, hooding and heat shrinking phases occur simultaneously translates into faster cycle times and increased productivity; The lower edge of the hood is fitted under the bottom of the product stretched by four pegs to make the best possible use of the actual material, and also making material saving possible making it possible to use a tubular reel of reduced perimeter.
Four jets of compressed air inflate the bag during arc descent thereby facilitating the positioning and eventual sliding of the film over the upper edges of the pack; The film is secured to the base of the product thanks to a suction device therefore avoiding a ballooning effect as the result of the expansion of the air actually inside the bag during heating and heat shrinking.
